One of the best reasons to choose Coco Metalcraft as your architectural grille and custom metalcraft provider is our all-inclusive fabrication shop. Not only do we personally design and engineer your product, but we can also fabricate, finish, and install it.
What services does Coco Metalcraft actually execute onsite?
Some of the key services offered by Coco Architectural Grilles & Metalcraft include the initial design, drafting and engineering of the grille or metal product prior to the fabrication. This allows us to submit a fully dimensioned shop drawing with all of the features for our customers’ review and approval.
When you approve your drawing, your grille works its way through our approved manufacturing processes:
- saw cutting
- notching
- shearing
- bending
- perforating/punching with CNC turret punch press
- welding
- laser cutting
- waterjet cutting
- final finishing
Our in-house finishing of Aluminum, Brass, Bronze, Stainless Steel and Steel includes Satin/Brushed Finishes (#4 and #6), #8 Mirror Polish, Primed-for-Paint, Custom Paint Color Matches, and oxidized finishes such as Statuary Bronze in several shades (Antiqued Bronze, Blackened Bronze or a US10B finish). Our polishing capabilities let us provide metal restoration services as well.
How does this benefit your clients?
This array of manufacturing and finishing processes allows us to provide architects, interior designers, and contractors with solutions for any project.
We can produce replicas for historic renovations or customize our standard products to match any application. We can even work to value-engineer a customer’s request to ensure it will fit their budget, without missing out on the custom features and unique elements of distinction you require to delight your customers.
What type of welding services do you offer?
Most of our products are TIG welded with material that is +/- 1/8” thick. Our TIG machines are able to weld much heavier gauges when required and we also have a MIG setup which is used less often. We can also Silver Solder special projects when necessary as well.
What type of cutting services do you offer?
Our cutting department consists of high-speed production saws for non-ferrous metals, band saws, double miter saws, and cold saws for stainless steel and steel. A shear is used for our sheet metal work.
What kinds of metal forming services do you offer?
For metal forming, CNC bending is most typical for us. It is helpful with our Perforated (decorative) Sheet Metal Grilles, and we use it for products such as enclosures, panels, cladding and other custom hardware/products.
We are also experts in old-world metal forming, including the rolling of scrolls, angles, tubes and bars with bending machines. It allows us to fabricate unique decorative accents for some of our projects. We are proud to offer masterful products using these methods.
As you can see, we offer almost every metal fabrication service you can imagine. This eliminates many steps in the metalcrafting process for our architects and contractors and streamlines any project. We prioritize quality and customer service, and we believe that our all-inclusive facility fosters that for all of our clients.
